This Friday, January 30th, our online shop will be closed for the day as we join the nationwide strike in opposition to ICE. As a small, family-run yarn business, we’re choosing to pause because we’re deeply troubled by the ongoing cruelty and inhumanity ICE has been displaying toward immigrant communities (as well as those speaking out) including increased detentions, family separations, and violence that have left so many living in fear and uncertainty. We believe in compassion, dignity, and standing up for our neighbors. If you’d like to support efforts that help immigrants, refugees, and families impacted by enforcement whether in Minnesota or beyond here are some organizations doing meaningful work right now.
