Jules used my Cloud MCN yarn in the Bouquet Garni colorway for this beautiful new design. I'm offering these FiDi Top Yarn Sets in a variety of my tonal colorways and number of skeins so that you can choose the set that will work best for you.
Want to use Hearty Sock, Cushy Merino, Soft Single or another yarn base or colorway of mine other than what's listed for the FiDi Sets? You can always place a custom order with me!
Below are the yarn requirements for the pattern:
Sizes: 34 (38, 42, 46, 50)(54, 58, 62, 66)” Bust, includes 2” of positive ease.
Yarn: 2 (2, 3, 3, 3)(4, 4, 5, 5) skeins of Speckled Finch Studios Cloud MCN Sock 3.53 oz/100 g, 435 yards/397 meters
Cloud MCN Sock
80% SW Merino Wool / 10% Cashmere / 10% Nylon
435 yards / 397 meters per skein
100 grams per skein
Every skein is dyed with professional acid dyes and with a lot of love and care! I use a variety of techniques to get unique colorways. One of the beauties of hand-dyed yarn is that each skein will be slightly unique - some may have more speckles, some a little more concentration of a color. While I do use specially crafted formulas to keep colorways as consistent as possible, no two skeins will be exactly the same. I recommend that you alternate skeins every couple of rows when using more than one skein of the same colorway. If you order multiple skeins, I will do my best to match them as best I can.
Please note that while I always try my best capture the colors correctly when photographing, with different monitors colors can vary greatly in appearance. I am the sole owner and dyer at Speckled Finch Studios and only dye in small batches.
Recommended care: hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
**Regarding Gauge: Please note that gauge varies depending on the knitter, needle size and project. Please make sure to do a gauge swatch when knitting a pattern. Additional gauge and suggested needle info can be found at the Craft Yarn Council here.
